If you dont like old games, dont bother with either one.ĭungeon Keeper 1 gets hard in the final levels of the campaign, Dungeon keeper 2 never got hard imo. Give them both a try and try to see what the hype was all about. If you dont care that the game is old and isn't completly balanced to the finest of the finest, i advise you buy both. But both games are horribly outdated so that shouldn't bother you anyway.

But ofcourse, the mostly better than those of DK1.

In my personal opinion it is a bit slow, and lacks the free choise of what stragegy you desire to use. The game is balnced ok but once you figure the game out there isn't much you need to do other than train your creatures untill you are ready to kill your enemy.ĭK2 is a much slower game. The campaing is long, fun, and definetly also challengine with an increasing difficulty with each level.ĭK1 was obviously rushed to be released, and some fun features were never put into the final game, some things are slightly buggy (sometimes creatures get stuck somewhere). It can be made easier however, by finding and unlocking the level 10 dark. This is the longest and most challenging level in the game. However, the campaign mode works copletely fine, even wit hthe poor AI. Here it is - level 20, the final battle against the king. Surely it wasnt the next tech level for the gaming industry but i really like the will for detail.

Like its predecessor, players take the role of a dungeon keeper, building and defending an underground dungeon from the would-be heroes that invade it, as well as from other keepers. The AI players were written in the last 2 weeks before the game was released, and even with later released patches, the AI players suck. Dungeon Keeper 2 was the sequel to Peter Molyneux's Dungeon Keeper and prequel to the canceled Dungeon Keeper 3. If you want to take a look at DK1 it is important to realise it was mostly designed ot be played with 2 to 4 people as a multiplayer LAN game. It was released in Europe and North America in June 1999. In this game, you take an important role in a 'dungeon keeper'. This game is the sequel to Dungeon Keeper. It was Bullfrog Productions developed and Electronic Arts published this game.
